This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) describes how teaRIOT collects, uses and discloses personal information of customers through our websites and online services, including teaRIOT.com (the “Website”) and other teaRIOT owned or operated online services, such as our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other social media or interactive pages that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Sites”) and explains the types of information we may collect.

By accessing or using any of our Sites, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to agree to these terms, you must not use our Sites. teaRIOT reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. What information is covered by this Privacy Policy?
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect:

in emails, texts, and other electronic messages between you and teaRIOT sent through any of our Sites; and
when you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising include links to this Privacy Policy.

What information do we collect and how do we collect it?

Personal Information
On our Sites, we may collect certain personally-identifiable information about our online visitors. Personally-identifiable information relates to an individual consumer – for example, name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline (collectively, “personal information”). We collect aggregated and non-personal information automatically through data collection technologies operated by our third-party service providers we’ve engaged to provide certain services on our Sites, each as explained below. By collecting aggregate and non-personal information, we learn how to best tailor our Sites to our visitors, including by enabling us to decide where to place additional media spend, estimate our audience size and usage patterns, store information about our users’ individual preferences, which allows us to customize our Sites according to our users’ individual interests and speed up our users’ searches, and recognize our users when they return to our Sites.
What data collection technologies do we use to collect information automatically?

The technologies we use for automatic data collection are described below.
Cookies
Cookies are very small text files, located on your computer’s hard drive. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Sites. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you visit our Sites. Below is a list of cookies we use. session_id, unique token, sessional – allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc.).
_shopify_visit, no data held, persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit – used by Shopify’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits.
_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day – used by Shopify to count the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks – stores information about the contents of your cart.
_secure_session_id, unique token, sessional
storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite – used by Shopify to determine if the current visitor has access to our shop.
_Kla_id trancks when someone clicks through a Klaviyo email to the Site.
KL_FORMS_MODAL Tracks when someone subscribes (opts in) to a form.
Due to a Safari update entitled ITP 2.1, cookies gathered while using the Safari web browser expire after seven days rather than lasting the full two years.

Web Beacons
Pages of our Sites and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit us to, for example, count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).
Tracking Technologies
In addition to using automatic data collection technologies to collect information about users of our Sites, we also use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or other online services (behavioral tracking) including, without limitation, to track spending frequency, how often emails are opened, engaged with or triggered a transaction on the Site. What information is collected by third parties?
As indicated by the cookies listed above, we receive certain information about our users from data collected through cookies operated by the following third-party service providers: Shopify, Klaviyo, amazon, IG and Facebook.

How do third parties use information collected through our Sites?
In general, the third-party service providers who operate certain content and features of the Sites will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. For example, if you choose a direct payment gateway to complete a purchase through this website, Shopify stores the personal and payment information you provide in Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application for only as long as necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, Shopify deletes your purchase transaction information.

How do we protect your information?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise share your personally-identifiable information to outside parties, except with trusted parties who assist us in operating our Sites, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep such information confidential. Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information

Also note that, we reserve the right to refuse to accommodate a request to change a user’s personal information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Users who post User Contributions on our Sites may email us at Rioteers@teaRIOT.com to request that we delete any of your User Contributions. However, even if your User Contributions are deleted from our Sites, copies of your User Contributions may nonetheless remain viewable in cached and archived page copied or stored by other users.
